He chose the date of 12.31 to become married because each year he wanted a big celebration on New Year's Eve.

Her Story

The mold was broken the day Tanya Tricha came to be. She is the most genuine and spectacular person I have ever had the pleasure to meet. Her kindness and compassion draws everyone around to her, and her beauty and grace make it hard for them to leave. She is witty and intelligent and can make an event of any conversation.
She was born on January 18th, 1981 in upstate New York. Her parents moved with her to the Suburbs of Chicago where she still lives today. She graduated high school from Crystal Lake and attended NLU for her undergraduate degree, finishing her Master's in 2014 at Concordia. Tanya is currently a vice president, business consultant for Bank of America.
Tanya has two amazing daughters, Andriana (5) and Payton (4), and three brothers and one sister. Family is extremely important to Tanya and she loves spending time at the Tatroe compound in Marengo. She spends her days working and the most important hours of the day are when she arrives home to the smiles of Andi and Payton. On the weekends she loves to take the girls on fun and educational excursions.
Serendipity has been the theme of Tanya and Josh's 18 year friendship. They met on the steps of Genoa-Kingston High School during the short period they both attended, and dated for 3 months. They were lost to each other for a couple years and found each other again when Josh attended University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. They reconnected again several years later while Josh was living in Portland, OR. Tanya had even taken a trip to visit the west coast, unknowingly staying 5 miles from him for over a week. Each time, one would search and find the other. Finally, at the perfect time in their lives, they were able to join together forever.
